As fetishes go that's probably fairly mild, and common too. (but no, I don't share it though!)
Besides, hey, if you and he like the look/style etc. and he finds them comfortable what's the big deal? My wife has a fair amount of clothing from boys/juniors departments. Now no, it isn't a sexual/fetish thing, it is just that she is petite and sweats and Ts from that dept fit her better, are more comfortable, and are generally cheaper than similar stuff from the women's dept.
